The same $25 sale on Poshmark, Depop, Etsy and TikTok Shop

A $25 item, before postage and sourcing cost, on each platform's official US fees. On Depop, Etsy and TikTok Shop the buyer pays $5 shipping to the seller, who buys the label; on Poshmark the buyer pays $6.49 straight to Poshmark for a prepaid label, so the seller receives no shipping money and pays no postage.

Pricing around Poshmark's $15 line

A $15.00 sale pays you $0.04 less than a $14.99 one: $12.00 against $12.04. You need $15.05 to keep $12.04 again, so price just under $15 or comfortably above it.

Below $15, every dollar of price goes to you, because the fee stays at $2.95. If an item cost you $2, a 30% margin needs a $7.08 sale; at $8 it needs $16.00.

Offers and price drops lower the fee too, because it is taken from the final order price. A shipping discount you offer is a cost to you on top of the fee.

How to calculate Poshmark fees

  1. Start from the final order price

The price the buyer accepted, after offers and price drops, without the buyer's $6.49 shipping.

  2. Apply the fee for the price

    A flat $2.95 under $15; 20% from $15 up.

  3. Subtract any shipping you pay

Only discounted shipping you offered, or postage on a bundle over 5 lb.

  4. Subtract what the item cost you

What is left is your profit. Sellers in Texas also have the Texas Seller Fee Tax deducted.
