Introduction

Welcome to Nolyn, an AI work partner for ecommerce and social media research. Nolyn brings multiple AI models and supported ecommerce and social data sources into one workspace so you can research products, analyze markets and competitors, discover customers and partners, and produce reports. Your privacy is important to us, and this policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Information Collection and Use

We collect the following types of data to provide and improve our services:

1. Account Information

   • What We Collect: Your name, email address, and profile information provided during registration (including via Google or GitHub sign-in).
   • Purpose: To create and manage your account, authenticate your identity, and provide customer support.

2. Tasks, Conversations and Work Content

   • What We Collect: The tasks, prompts and messages you enter into the AI workspace, files you upload, the scheduled tasks you configure, and the outputs generated for you (analyses, comparison tables, reports and other artifacts saved to your library).
   • Purpose: To run your research tasks, keep your conversation and task history available to you, deliver scheduled reports, and let you revisit and refine previous work.

3. Data Retrieved from Third-Party Platforms

   • What We Collect: When a task requires it, Nolyn queries third-party data providers for publicly available information from supported ecommerce and social media platforms (for example product listings, prices, reviews, posts, engagement metrics, and store or company information). Retrieved results are stored with your task so they can be analyzed and shown to you.
   • Purpose: To answer your research questions and produce the deliverables you request. You can switch individual data sources on or off in your account settings.
   • Note: Nolyn is not affiliated with the platforms whose data is available through the product. Retrieved data may contain information about third parties (such as sellers, creators or reviewers). You are responsible for using it lawfully, as described in our Terms of Service.

4. Outreach and Email Data (optional)

   • What We Collect: If you choose to use outreach features, the contact and business information you research or import, the email content you create, and, if you connect a Gmail account via OAuth, the tokens needed to send on your behalf.
   • Purpose: To draft and send outreach emails and manage follow-up sequences at your request.
   • Gmail API Scope: Nolyn requests only the gmail.send scope. We only send emails on your behalf and do not read, access, or store the content of your inbox or incoming email messages. We do not request gmail.readonly or any other scope that would grant access to your mailbox contents. Nolyn's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. Usage and Billing Details

   • What We Collect: Information about how you use Nolyn, including features accessed, models and data sources used, credit consumption per task, and usage frequency.
   • Purpose: To operate credit-based billing, enforce plan limits, analyze engagement, and improve our services.

6. Device and Technical Information

   • What We Collect: Device type, operating system, browser type, IP address, and general location data.
   • Purpose: To optimize our services, ensure security, and comply with applicable laws.

7. Cookies

   • What We Collect: Session cookies, authentication tokens, and preference settings such as language.
   • Purpose: To maintain your login session and provide a seamless user experience.

8. Payment and Billing Information

   • What We Collect: Payment method details processed through our third-party payment providers (such as Stripe). We do not store your full credit card number.
   • Purpose: To process subscription payments and manage your billing.

AI and Data Processing

Nolyn uses artificial intelligence to:

• Understand your research tasks and plan the steps needed to complete them
• Retrieve and analyze product, market, review and social data from supported sources
• Compare products, competitors and trends and identify recurring needs or themes
• Discover potential customers, distributors and partners and draft outreach at your request
• Generate structured reports, comparison tables and next-step recommendations

To deliver these features, your task content and retrieved data are processed by third-party AI model providers (accessed through OpenRouter) and third-party data providers using Nolyn's own service credentials. You do not need your own API keys. We select providers that meet our data protection standards and share only what is necessary to complete your task. We do not use your content to train our own AI models. AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete and should be verified before you rely on them.

Data Storage and Security

We store your data on secure servers with industry-standard encryption. We implement access controls, regular security audits, and monitoring to protect against unauthorized access. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your account data, conversations, tasks and library items for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Cached third-party data may be kept for a limited period to avoid repeated charges for the same query. You may delete individual conversations and tasks in the product, and you may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in the following circumstances:

• Service Providers: With trusted third-party partners who help us operate our platform (AI model providers, data providers, payment processors, hosting, and email delivery services), subject to confidentiality agreements.
